More than 300 km, 6 mountain passes and 10,000 m of elevation gained in a single route through the Vie Storiche di Montagna of the Turin Alps, taking in mountain passes, valleys and high-altitude roads.
From Liguria to the Aosta Valley, through the hills and valleys of the Cuneo and Turin Alps, the Intervalliva adventure continues towards the Turin Alps.
From Montoso, the view stretches across the plain, before climbing to Colle della Vaccera with a view of Monviso Mountain. The route continues along a dirt track towards Pramollo and Colle Lazzarà on a secluded military track, ideal for technical gravel riding.
In Val Chisone, your eyes will be attracted by the majestic Fenestrelle Fort. The route then turns off towards Pian dell’Alpe and Pequerel, reaching the legendary Colle delle Finestre and its 45 hairpin bends. Here, a detour onto the iconic Strada dell’Assietta offers over 30 km of unpaved ridge road at an altitude of over 2,000 m.
Once down in Val Susa, the route climbs again towards the rugged Colle del Collombardo. After passing the Colle della Dieta, the route heads towards Ceresole Reale for the ascent to the Colle del Nivolet (2,612 m), in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
This is where the Intervalliva ends: a journey that combines on- and off-road riding, history and the beauty of the Alps.
