A white kingdom of sport and nature in the Alps

If your winter doesn't just rhyme with herbal tea, but with... sport and healthy air: Torino's mountains are perfect for families who want to spend time together outdoors, doing sport surrounded by enchanting nature. Famous throughout the world, the ski resorts in the province of Torinooffer experiences suitable for all ages and skill levels. The slopes are also suitable for children (and beginners of all ages!): families can find everything they want and in many locations the ski schools organise courses designed especially for the little ones, with expert instructors to learn to slide on the snow in total safety.

But there's more: for those who want to experience the mountains at 360 degrees, there are many proposals: from ice skating to adrenaline-filled tobogganing, snowshoeing to savour the views (and the silence) of the forests, and the experience you wouldn't expect: dog sledding.

Skiing on the slopes of champions

The beating heart of winter sports in Piedmont, the Vialattea is the ski area that embraces Alta Val Susa and Val Chisone. 400 km of slopes for every level winding through the mountains of the two valleys. Spectacular views, varied and fun slopes, with ever new opportunities for fun.

Sestriere: elegance and Alpine tradition

Sestriere is one of the best known and most popular resorts in the Vialattea. A ski resort with an international vocation and perfect for families. In addition to its vast sporting offer, Sestriere is ideal for those looking for fun after a day on the snow thanks to its sparkling atmosphere: its thousands of after-ski events make it one of the most fashionable resorts in the Turin mountains!

Sauze d'Oulx: the Balcony of the Alps

One of the liveliest resorts in the Valsusa Valley, with well-snowed slopes and many facilities for young and old, Sauze d'Oulx is the ideal place for a dynamic holiday, where sport, sociability and fun intertwine perfectly.

Cesana and Sansicario: elegance and comfort

Going up in altitude, in Alta Val Susa, there are two other pearl villages, Cesana and the highest Sansicario, rich in history, sport, tradition and... worldliness.

Claviere: at the crossroads of France and Italy

A truly unique location, in the presence of his majesty the Chaberton: Claviere is a pleasant village with proposals for both ski enthusiasts and those who love skating, snowshoeing and enjoying an authentic mountain atmosphere.

Bardonecchia: proposals for everyone

Bardonecchia is one of the most popular destinations in the Vialattea. Situated in a sunny basin, it has modern facilities and slopes for all levels, a snow playground, enchanted forest trails for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, combined with family-friendly hospitality, tasty cuisine and a varied cultural offer. All just one hour by train or car from the city.

Pragelato: cross-country skiing, mon amour!

In the heart of Val Chisone, Pragelato offers one of the best areas for cross-country skiing, with tracks immersed in the enchanting silence of the Val Troncea Regional Natural Park. A place that has been able to preserve Alpine traditions, both in handicrafts and in food and wine. Thanks to its connection with the Vialattea, it is also a perfect destination for downhill skiing enthusiasts.
