Cosplayer Run

Everything is ready for the seventh edition of the Cosplayer Run, the event that combines sports, cosplay, and charity, already popular among fans of all ages.

On Sunday, September 28, the event returns after the success of previous editions, even richer in fun, set in the park along the Po River in Turin, right in front of Regina Margherita and CTO hospitals. A scenic and easily accessible location that ideally connects participants to the charitable purpose of the initiative.

The event is organized by Accademia 72, a group that has been promoting sports and social activities for years, and all proceeds will be donated to the non-profit Amici dei Bambini Cardiopatici, active at Regina Margherita Hospital. The 2025 edition is sponsored by the City of Turin, the Piedmont Region, and supported by Xmas Comics, the winter edition of the well-known comics, gaming, and cosplay fair.
The Cosplayer Run is a non-competitive 5 km run or walk, open to everyone, with participants welcome to dress up as their favorite characters from movies, comics, and video games. It’s a moment of relaxation and fun for families and amateur sports enthusiasts. Entertainment will also take place before and after the race, featuring special guests such as the 501st Italica Garrison, the Rebel Legion Italian Base, Tomb Raider Italia, and the Marvel Avengers Team Italia.

Famous social media cosplayers have already confirmed their attendance; updates are available on Accademia72’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Music will play a key role with a live performance by Il magico mondo di Laura, reinterpreting beloved cartoon soundtracks in a modern style. K-Pop and dance fans will also enjoy performances by the Reverse Crew K-Pop Dance Cover.
