Sentieri spettacolari

San Sicario has a new, small winter theatre season: it is called Sentieri spettacolari (Spectacular Paths) and is produced by the Turin theatre company Onda Larsen.
It begins on Saturday 31 January with Delitto imperfetto (Imperfect Crime) by Claudio Insegno, starring Riccardo De Leo, Gianluca Guastella and Lia Tomatis in an almost perfect crime: it is not easy, in fact, to improvise as a killer, not everyone is cut out for crime and the result can be clumsy or even disastrous, but certainly hilarious.
Then, on Saturday 7 February, it is time for cinema with Un altro Ferragosto (Another Mid-August), the film directed by Paolo Virzì. Then, on Saturday 14, Opera Pop. Elisir d'amore, a show by Luigi Orfeo that pays homage to and introduces Gaetano Donizetti: on the evening dedicated to lovers, a journey through one of the most beautiful operas, to fall in love with the story, but also with how it was set to music and told. Finally, on Sunday 15th (6.30 pm), there is theatre for families with Mago J Show, suitable for children aged 3 and up: it has been performed over 1500 times and has been touring Italy for 25 years, combining mime, street theatre, circus, physical theatre, animation, magic, juggling and acrobatics.
