Club Silencio opens the doors of the Egyptian Museum and Palazzo Carignano, two iconic cultural centres in Turin, for an exclusive evening discovering the city's hidden treasures, with tours, drinks, a play corner and music.
From 7 p.m., visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a fascinating journey through ancient Egypt: for the occasion, the Gallery of Kings will be open, featuring large sculptures of pharaohs and deities found in the Karnak temple complex in Thebes (now Luxor) in 1817-1818, and the first floor with authentic masterpieces such as the Tomb of Kha, the Gallery of Sarcophagi, the Village of Deir el-Medina and the Valley of the Queens.
It will also be possible to access the inner courtyard of Palazzo Carignano and visit its elegant Mezzogiorno Apartments, also known as the Princes' Apartments, to admire the spectacular Baroque decorations and mirrors that cover the walls of the palace.
The evening will be enlivened by a rich artistic programme: inside the courtyard, the musical selection will be curated by Pigalle, DJ and founder of the ROOM project, with which he has performed on stages of the calibre of Fabrique Milano; in the Galleria dei Re, meanwhile, a musical performance by Chalanga will make the atmosphere even more evocative with a live performance featuring analogue synths, live percussion, drum machines and sax and flute loops.
There will also be the Club Silencio lounge bar, a careful selection of food options and activities in the Play Corner!
