The Giro-E ENEL is an exclusive e-bike experience unique worldwide, taking place on the days and roads of the Giro d'Italia. Organised by RCS Sport, it is included as a cycling event in the calendar of the Italian Cycling Federation and was first held in 2019.
Thanks to the use of e-bikes, which allow normally trained cyclists to tackle the climbs usually reserved for the champions, the event gives all cycling enthusiasts the experience of the Corsa Rosa, of which it follows the route; only the starting locations change, as well as the mileage of the stage, which is less.
