The varied programme of Art, crafts, music and… Siole Pien-e brings the hamlet of Rivera, in the municipality of Alme, to life: the star of the show is the Piedmontese flat white onion, which can be sampled in local restaurants taking part in the initiative and, over the weekend, at the organised events.
On Sunday 4, we’ll be serving Siole Pien-e Rivera-style – that is, with amaretti – as well as a meat-filled version; not to mention the Bignette cui Pum, apple fritters made on the spot and served sprinkled with sugar. Visitors will also be able to sample local specialities at the food stalls.
