Pfatisch Torino
Historic Pastry Shop and Café
A historic venue in Turin since 1915, Pfatisch is a landmark for those who appreciate artisanal pastry and high-quality chocolate.
Founded by master pastry chef Gustavo Pfatisch, it is located at its historic premises on Via Sacchi 42, in an elegant Art Nouveau building designed by Pietro Fenoglio.
Production is entirely artisanal and includes a wide selection of fresh and dry pastries, cakes, chocolate – from bars to giandujotti – and spreads made with carefully selected ingredients.
Among the most beloved creations is the iconic Festivo, a cake created in the 1960s with cocoa meringue and chocolate chantilly cream.
Alongside sweet pastries, Pfatisch also offers savoury pastry, awarded the best in Italy in 2023 by the “Pasticceri & Pasticcerie” guide by Gambero Rosso, with more than 80 varieties ranging from traditional canapés to creative reinterpretations.
Recognised as a Historic Venue of Italy and formerly a supplier to the Royal Household, Pfatisch is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Turin and wishing to taste the finest Piedmontese pastry tradition.
For those who would like to take home a taste of the Pfatisch tradition, the online shop www.shop.pfatisch.com offers a selection of artisanal specialties.
