Centro Visitatori - Parco Naturale del Lago di Candia

Established in 1995, it was the first experience of a «pilot» Provincial Park in Italy. Subsequently it was added to the list of the sites of Rete Natura 2000 because of its exceptional naturalistic value. The Visitors Centre with the annexed Bird Centre offers added value to the Park visitors. And at the beginning of 2009 an artificial incubator for indigenous fish species (pike) was created right inside the Visitors Centre, the first of its kind in Italy made inside a park.
