Lago di Candia Canavese

Surrounded by the moraine hills on which the ancient villages of Candia Canavese, Vische and Mazzè stand, Lake Candia is mottled with a thousand colours that change with the seasons.
The scarce building on the shores and the reduced pressure of tourism have allowed the Candia basin to preserve remarkable natural conditions, which make the lake and the neighbouring marshland one of the most important wetlands in Piedmont (and beyond).
