Smart urban regeneration
The transformation of former industrial sites such as Lingotto and OGR-Officine Grandi Riparazioni into cultural hubs represents Turin's commitment to blending history and innovation. The city is also part of UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) programme and promotes sustainable philosophies such as Slow Food. The TorinoMercati app digitises and promotes street markets, preserving their tradition.
Environmental initiatives

The redevelopment of former industrial areas into green spaces and the “Case di Quartiere” (Neighbourhood Houses) project, which involves residents in urban planning, contribute to more sustainable and inclusive tourism.
Accessible tourism
The sensory and inclusive experiences offered by museums and the Turismabile platform, launched in 2007, are excellent examples of Torino's commitment to accessible travel.
